Description
APPLICATIONS:
1. Brine, the by-product of salt making from seawater, is concentrated into carnallite (KCl·MgCI·6H2O) solution, and removed potassium chloride after cooling, then concentrated, filtered, cooled and crystallized. Magnesium oxide or magnesium carbonate dissolved with hydrochloric acid, replaced by. Anhydrous magnesium chloride is obtained by heat deamination of ammonium magnesium chloride. [3]
2. Anhydrous magnesium chloride can be made from a mixture of ammonium chloride and magnesium chloride hexahydrate, or from the dehydration of ammonium chloride and magnesium chloride hexahydrate double salt in hydrogen chloride airflow.
Storage and transportation temperature:
2-8℃. [4] Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat source. Packaging must be completely sealed to prevent moisture absorption. Should be stored separately from the oxidant, do not mix storage. The storage area shall be equipped with suitable materials to accommodate leaks.
